Prof. Gugler participated to the 2018 Horasis Global Meeting (May 2018)

Prof. Gugler participated to the 2018 Horasis Global Meeting held in Cascai (Portugal) between the 5th and 8th of may 2018: “The Horasis Global Meeting aims to be the world’s foremost annual gathering of business leaders who interact with heads of governments and key ministers as well as Nobel Laureates and other thought leaders” (Businesswire.com). 

Prof. Gugler presented his view in a session dedicated to “Speaheading Economic Growth”.

Prof. Gugler met Mac Maharaj at the Horasis Global Meeting in Cascai (May 2018). Mac Maharaj is former Minister of Transport and Former Spokeperson of the Government of South Africa. Max Maharaj was imprisoned on Robben Island with Nelson Mandela during 12 years: “He secretly transcribed Mandela’s memoir ‘Long Walk to Freedom’ and smuggled it out of the prison in 1976" (clarityfilms.org).
