One Professor Position and One Associate Professor Position

 Informal Call for One Professor Position and One Associate Professor Position

 One Professor Position and one Associate Professor Position just open at the Centre for Quantum Computation & Intelligent Systems (QCIS) at Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Australia. The specific achievements of QCIS in last five years from 2008 to 2013 can be found from the following reports:

 About the positions: Both positions are full-time continuing & permanent and they are the research only in the first four years. Both positions are available immediately.

 

Required research areas:  Machine learning and/or Data Mining

 

 About you:  If you are interested in the above positions, please provide us the following information:
   1.Which position are you interested in (or both positions)?
   2.When can you start to work at QCIS if you are offered one position?
   3.The date of your PhD degree awarded.
   4.The list of your TEN career best publications (please do not send us the copy of the papers).

 About the procedure: 
 This is an informal call to express your interests.  If being shortlisted by this informal call, you will be invited to submit a formal application, then go through the formal selection process.

 Please send your expression of interests to Jing Jiang (jing.jiang@uts.edu.au) before 31 October 2014 (Friday).  The earlier, the better. If you have any queries about these two positions and our centre, please feel free to email us. We will notify you the shortlist results as soon as we can and invite the shortlisted candidates to submit formal application.
