We are happy to announce the publication of a special issue of the journal Topoi (Springer), co-edited by Dr. Steve Oswald, in collaboration with Prof. Marcin Lewi?ski, Dr. Bianca Cepollaro, and Prof Maciej Witek. This open-access volume, titled "Norms of public argument: A speech act perspective", features 15 papers which draw on speech act theory to tackle issues related to normative aspects of public deliberation and argumentation. The special issue is a direct output of a European project vice-chaired by Dr. Oswald, COST Action CA_17132, European Network for Argumentation and Public Policy Analysis.
