We would like to invite you to attend the 27th edition of the SwissSed Meeting, which will take place on Saturday, 23th February 2019 at the University of Fribourg.

The SwissSed meeting provides a forum for the presentation of results of on-going research and new knowledge in the field of sedimentology.

But especially, the meeting venue offers an informal platform for dynamic discussions, the stimulation of new contacts and cooperation between sedimentologists.

On behalf of the SwissSed Committee, we look forward meeting you in Fribourg for stimulating sedimentological discussions.

Registration

Please register through sending an e-mail to Dr. Andres Rüggeberg (andres.rueggeberg@unifr.ch). The registration fee of 50 CHF (including lunch and coffee breaks) should be paid directly on-site. Note that students can register at a reduced fee of 30 CHF and ESPP students can get financial support from CUSO through direct registration on the CUSO website: https://earth-processes.cuso.ch/welcome. All other students are advised to ask their supervisor for financial support. Abstracts for poster or oral presentations should be submitted before 15 February 2019. Please download the abstract template below. Abstracts (1 or 2 pages in A4- format) must be submitted as one word-document (*.doc-format) directly to andres.rueggeberg@unifr.ch. Please indicate in your mail whether you prefer a poster and/or oral presentation. Talks are limited to 15 minutes (+ 5 minutes for discussion). The poster must be no larger than portrait A0 (Width x Height: 841 mm x 1189 mm / 33.11 in x 46.81 in).
