Optional modules Master of European Business

 

In addition to the core module, you have to choose one optional module out of four. In this optional module, you have to reach at least 12 ECTS, i.e. you have to take about 3 courses.

Some of the courses in the optional modules that are offered regularly are listed below. Here, only courses in English language are listed, while additional courses in German or French might exist. For the currently valid list, you should check the faculty’s website (programme de modules à choix / Wahlmodulprogramm). In addition, the University of Fribourg cooperates in the BeNeFri-network with the neighbouring universities of Berne and of Neuchatel. Courses from their course lists can also be taken and can – after permission by the programme responsibles – be accredited towards the optional modules.

 

Strategic and Genaral Management

 

Courses that are offered in the module “Strategic & General Management” and that can be accredited towards this optional module for the Master of Arts in European Business are, for example, Organizational Behaviour, Strategic Value Creation, Strategic Management of Technological Innovation, Research Seminar in Nonprofit Management, Decision Analysis, Managing the Multinational Network, Electronic Business, Supply Chain Management & Logistics.

 

Marketing

 

Courses that are offered in the module “Marketing” and that can be accredited towards this optional module for the Master of Arts in European Business are, for example, Relationship Marketing, Services Marketing, Advanced Seminar in Marketing, Advanced Seminar in European Business, European Marketing, Multivariate Analysis: Data Mining, Online Marketing.
