    Description

This practical course gives an introduction to psychological interviewing which is one of the most important methods of psychological intervention. It will introduce some basic theoretical models as well as the practice of specific skills, such as offering simple and complex reflections, collaboratively supporting client autonomy, etc. But, far from being a simple collection of techniques, the psychological interviewing is an helping relationship, that is a part of a concerted setting, where a helper seeks to encourage a change in the helpee in the way they feel and think about themselves, and their physical or social environment, and in the way they behave towards themselves and their environment.

This practical course offers the initiation with an other student and on oneself of skills which are prerequisites to the practical course of 'Advanced Skills' in the clinical option of our Master in Psychology.
