    Description

    Cognitive processing is prone to various biases (e.g., in attention and interpretation). Some of these biases are typical for healthy processing, others are supposed to play a central role in the genesis and maintenance of mental disorders. In the present seminar, we will consider the nature and the neurophysiological underpinnings of some of these biases and identify important factors that make a bias adaptive vs. nonadaptive.
