    Description

Forensic Psychology deals with different aspects of how Psychology is applied to and assists with criminal proceedings. Two main subjects from the field of forensic psychology are the prediction of  criminal behavior, e.g. assessing the risk of a convicted sexual offender to harm another person again, and the detection of deception in the context of witness testimony. The course will not only provide the theoretical knowledge behind those applied methods but also give participants the opportunity to take part in a simulated risk assessment of ficticious cases and excercise the criteria-based statement analysis to reveal deception in a demo witness testinomy.
