    Description

    How do we choose our partners? Why did jealousy evolve? Why do stepfathers and stepmothers invest more in their own children, and less in their step-children? Why do young mothers claim that the newborn looks like her/his father? Why do women and men have different ‘business plans’ for reproduction? Why do male skateboarders not fail their tricks when the assessor is male, but not female? Why did war evolve?

    The course provides the introduction to the fascinating concepts of evolutionary psychology (EP). EP provides scientific and evidence-based concepts to explain why our mind evolved over time to adapt to issues of survival, reproduction and social interactions.
