Academics Overview

Our basic study programme in 3 years leads to a diploma of  "Bachelor of Sciences".  Then you have the possiblity to continue with a "Master of Sciences" in which you will choose a speciality in a given biology domain. The studies are billingual (french and german). This bilingualism will be mentioned on your degree and will be an advantage on the labour market. However as we are in the field of sciences a lot of our courses are given in english. Our study programme is integrated to the european system of "Bologne" , which is a gateway to work or study abroad. Biomedical industry, laboratories, teaching, government agencies & NGO, impact assessement offices, public health institutions, insurance & statistics companies, scientific journalism - here are some of the career opportunities for biologists. You can also continue your studies with a PhD and make your research your profession.
