The TCS SP5 is an inverted confocal laser scanning microscope suitable for:
- Live cell imaging
- Fixed tissue imaging
Key features:
- Inverted DMI6000 stand with motorized stage
- Tandem scanner: conventional galvo and resonant (high speed)
- Fast piezo focus
- AOBS (acousto-optical beam splitter) as tunable dichroic
- 3 PMT detectors with spectral detection, 1 transmitted light detector
- Wide-field fluorescence cubes: DAPI, GFP, Rhodamine, CFP/YFP
- Contrast methods: DIC
- Temperature controled incubator
- Local drug application system (OctaFlow, ALA Scientific Instruments)
- Software: Leica LAS
