Prof. Philippe Gugler Chaired the board meeting and the General assembly of EIBA in Milan on December 14th and 15th 2017. He chaired a panel on "Indutrial Policy in the digital economy" gathering Ana Teresa Tavares Lehman (Secretary of State of Industry, Portugal), Michael Gestrin (OECD, France), Lars Oxelheim (Agder University, Norway) and Mo Yamin (Manchester Business School, UK).

Prof. Gugler was panelist on a panel on Gender issues in International Business.

Damiano Lepori presented a paper (accepted in a competitive session) on  "Comparative Advantages and Cross-border M&As: The Case of Chinese M&A in European Countries"  (co-written with Prof. Gugler).
