Dr. rer. nat.
I mainly teaching courses in the domain of motor control. Furthermore, I am the coordinator of the master thesis procedures and responsible for the laboratory stage for bachelor students (health - performance - research).
My research domains are learning and adaptation processes in motor control. Currently, I am particularly interested in responses to postural perturbations and how they are modulated in the neural system.
After an apprenticeship as a lab technician and some years of work, I started my bachelor studies in Sports at the EHSM in Magglingen in the year 2008. I moved then to the University of Fribourg to receive the Master’s degree in Sport Sciences (Health & Research). Right after finishing my Master's degree, I continued as a PhD student in the group of Prof. Wolfgang Taube. Since 2018, I am employed as a Lecturer and Research Assistant at the Department of Neurosciences and Movement Sciences.
