Biography

I am PhD student and research assistant at the University of Fribourg Environmental Sciences and Humanities Institute since August 2019. I received my Bachelor of Arts in 'Philosophy & Economics' from Bayreuth University (DE) in 2016 and since 2019 hold a Master of Science in 'Politics, Economics and Philosophy' from Hamburg University (DE).

In my PhD project Ethics in Governing Carbon Dioxide Removal I address ethical challenges for the governance of carbon dioxide removal methods. My research is on the permissibility of CDR, on justice in the context of CDR policy, and on moral responsibility of different agents in the context of climate change.

I am involved in research projects on food security, digital ethics, and biodiversity. I teach on ethics in environmental practice, climate ethics and environmental ethics.
