We are happy to welcome a new temporary member of staff this semester, Dr Sangam MacDuff, who will be teaching an MA seminar on “Literary Logic: Lewis Carroll to James Joyce” and a BA seminar on “Contemporary Scottish Fiction”. Sangam Macduff gained his doctorate at the University of Geneva with a thesis on James Joyce. He has published widely on Joyce and modernist literature, with a book on James Joyce’s Epiphanies due to appear this spring.  

In the BA seminar on Contemporary Scottish Fiction, we are delighted to welcome Robert Alan Jamieson, who will be giving a reading from his highly acclaimed novel, macCloud Falls, one of the texts which will be discussed in class.
