The course deals with the principles and methods of company valuation. In the theoretical part, various versions of discounted cash flow models and residual income models are presented and compared. Subsequently, all steps in the process of a company valuation are examined, from analysing past performance and value creation to forecasting value drivers and analyzing risk. Case studies are discussed in the practical part of the course. The aim is to enable students to carry out theoretically sound company valuations on their own.
