New look for the Geomorphology group website

Research in Geomorphology Research Group at the University of Fribourg focuses on the dynamics and evolution of the mountain permafrost, and the periglacial and geomorphologic environment. For the end of this year, the Geomorphology group Website has been revamped!

Our team is involved in a series of projects that are described in a dedicated page. Our approaches include measuring techniques, which are mainly applied in the Swiss Alps. More info regarding methods can be found here.

Various study sites are investigated in Swiss Alps by the Geomorphology group and concern mostly active rock glaciers, but also partially frozen talus deposits, ice caves, as well as landslides. More information regarding these sites is available on the Study sites page.

You can also find the current images recorded by many webcams installed on several study sites monitored by the Geography Unit of the University of Fribourg.

Enjoy!
