Courses Emerging Markets 

From Spring Semester 2015 until spring semester 2021, the faculty regularly offered courses on emerging markets (besides integrating the perspective of emerging markets into many of its other courses). More than 300 students have since then been learning about Management in Emerging Markets.

As a senior lecturer, Dr. Marie-Ann Betschinger has given these courses in the first years before she has successfully gained a position as Assistant Professor at HEC Montréal. 

From Spring Semester 2018, the Sika Endowed Research Group Emerging Markets has found new experts:

In 2018 and 2019, Prof. Jakob Arnoldi from the Aarhus University in Denmark, has offered the course “Management in Emerging Markets” to our students as a visiting professor.

In 2020 and 2021, Prof. Tilo Halaszovic from the Jacobs-University in Bremen in Germany has been teaching the course here in Fribourg.
