On 16th December 2019 Cardinal Koch gave a lecture in Chambésy on the Orthodox-Catholic dialogue, entitled: "Vers l'unité de l'Église en Orient et en Occident. Les chemins pour surmonter les divisions entre l'Église catholique, les Églises orthodoxes orientales et les Églises orthodoxes". The Cardinal strengthened the Catholic perspective on the whole Orthodoxy by mentioning the dialogue with the Oriental Orthodox Churches as well as the dialogue with the Byzantine Churches.
