Stefan Constantinescu gave a sermon in the World Council of Churches
On the occasion of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity , Stefan Constantinescu, co-director of the Study Centre for Eastern Churches, gave the sermon in Geneva at the celebration of the Geneva parishes in the Chapel of the World Council of Churches.
The biblical text at the centre of the prayer service refers to the reception of the Apostle Paul after his rescue from the shipwreck on the island of Malta: "And they showed us unusual kindness" (Acts 28:2).
