Telders International Law Moot Court Competition


The Chair for European, International and Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Fribourg, offers a new Moot Court: the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition in The Hague, Netherlands.

To apply to join the University of Fribourg’s team, please submit your complete application file (motivation letter, transcript of records, CV) and all questions regarding the competition to Petru Emanuel Zlătescu until the 1st of August 2019.

Every year in May, more than a hundred law students from all over Europe convene in The Hague, City of Peace and Justice, to compete in the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition. This competition provides a valuable opportunity to improve legal writing and presentation skills, essential to young law students in their future professional career. The Telders Competition is the most prestigious of its kind in Europe. Through the competition, law students learn about the practical side of courtroom law and gain experience grounded in the principles of the rule of law, civil society and fair play. The Telders International Law Moot Court Competition is open to all European university students who are currently enrolled in their bachelors or masters phase of their study.
