On May 15^th 2019, the Institute of Federalism welcomed a high ranking delegation from Ethiopia. Following an invitation by the Swiss Foreign Affairs Department, the Ethiopian delegates got an insight on the Swiss experience of federalism. Dr. Nicolas Schmitt introduced them to the historical background of the modern Switzerland and    presented some key elements of what makes the Swiss federalism a success story.
