Following a very intensive and rewarding workshop in 2018 in Bolzano (IT), the Institute of Federalism was proud to host the 2^nd multi-disciplinary workshop of the series on federalism and conflict resolution. For 2 days, approximately 15 national and international scholars shared with their peers the findings of their research.

This 2^nd workshop demonstrated that the federal toolbox can be used to prevent and solve intra-state conflicts. It was visited by a dozen of law students and some federal officials who benefited a tailor-made introduction on the topic by Dr. Nicolas Schmitt entitled “Quelques réflexions sur le fédéralisme et ses implications en Suisse et dans le monde”.
