The Institute of Federalism is proud to be a partner organization of a consortium of almost 20 academic and non-academic partner institutions worldwide. Supported by the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation – HORIZON 2020, the 4 years LoGov project was successfully launched in February 2019 in the city of Bolzano (IT).

The main aim of this ambitious research project is to identify, evaluate, compare and share on a global scale, best-fit practices in five majors areas of local government. The institute of Federalism will lead the research cluster focusing on the structures of local governments. Prof. Eva Maria Belser and her team will be personally involved in the  research and will facilitate a smooth and efficient running of the LoGov project.
