Dr. Reardon's practice focuses on international litigation and arbitration, as well as on regulatory matters, particularly economic sanctions. He joined MLL Legal AG in 2018 (then Froriep Legal SA). Dr. Reardon is both civil and common law trained and admitted to practice in Geneva and Washington, D.C. He holds a Ph.D., a Master and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Fribourg as well as a J.D. from Northwestern University. Dr. Reardon was previously an associate at DLA Piper LLP (US), based in Washington, D.C. He focused on FCPA investigations, compliance and litigation, securities litigation, antitrust compliance and litigation, and arbitration. He also worked on sanctions and financial-criminal matters and was a lobbyist registered with the United States Congress. James F. Reardon regularly publishes, particularly in the fields of corruption and economic sanctions, and also speaks and gives lectures in these areas.
