Dr. Jean-Claude Werz is a Member of Senior Management of AXA Winterthur Insurance. He has been working on legal issues in connection with underwriting, product development in International liability insurance for 25 years, as well as training underwriters. He  is a member of Liability Commission of Swiss Insurers Association. Prior to entering the insurance business, Dr. Werz worked as in-house counsel in the international leasing industry. He commenced his legal studies in South Africa, continued them at the University of Fribourg, where he obtained his lic. Iur. and doctorate, as well as obtaining a LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley.
