Mr. Rafael Merencio is an international legal, compliance and privacy professional with wide experience in several sectors (luxury real estate, finance, retail, aerospace, import/export, beverages, machine equipment and engineering solutions) in roles both in-house and in private practice. He is also a member of several professional associations and a usual speaker at international legal and compliance conferences.

Rafael holds a law degree from the University of Navarra (Spain), a MA in European and Transatlantic Studies from the University of Bath (UK), and an LLM from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), as well as negotiation and mediation training from IMD and Pepperdine University. He is currently general counsel to a Swiss company, leader in the security printing business worldwide. Rafael speaks Spanish, English and French.
