The Macroeconomics I course introduces the main topics of macroeconomic analysis at a beginner and intermediate level. It focuses on national accounting and the economic circuit, equilibrium conditions of goods, monetary, and labour markets, and on aggregate demand and supply conditions. The role of monetary policy and fiscal policy is analysed in detail. Lectures are completed by workshops (every three weeks).
