International Fair
1.10. Die Dienststelle für internationale Beziehungen organisiert gemeinsam mit dem Büro für Erasmus und internationale Beziehungen der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät die INTERNATIONAL FAIR (vormals Mobilitätsmarkt). Die Studierenden erhalten Informationen zu verschiedenen Mobilitätsarten, den Bedingungen, Schritten, Fristen, Vorbereitung usw. für einen akademischen Mobilitätsaufenthalt im Jahr 2020-2021 und für einen beruflichen Mobilitätsaufenthalt (Praktikum) im Jahr 2019-2020.

« Solidarity Rescues » in the Mediterranean : A Duty, a Crime or a Right ?

Dr Violeta Moreno-Lax is Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Law, founder of the Immigration Law programme, and inaugural co-Director of the Centre for European and International Legal Affairs (CEILA) at Queen Mary University of London. The expert in asylum and migration law discusses in her lecture the new and rapidly spreading phenomenon in Europe - the criminalisation of solidaristic behaviour towards undocumented migrants by individuals and non-profit organisations.

Comparing the Jurisdiction Ratione Materiae of International Courts on Human Rights: New Designs and Old Anxieties
29.10. Dr Mando Rachovitsa is an Assistant Professor of Public International Law at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. Her current research interests revolve around judicial dispute settlement, treaty interpretation, international and European human rights law as well as the role of international law in regulating aspects of cyberspace.The main focus of the lecture is the distinctive material (contentious) jurisdiction of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACtHPR).
