The Interdisciplinary Week 2018 from 27th to 30th November 2018 was dedicated to the theme "You are the light of the world! Theological reflection, witness and prayer were expressed in an ecumenical plurality of voices, including Orthodox contributions. Stefan Constantinescu, co-director of the Study Centre for the Eastern Churches, spoke of the light that lits itself in the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem during the Easter Vigil and of his experiences of the harmony between the light of nature and the light of the liturgy on Mount Athos. The Orthodox priest Fr. Ioan Ciurin explained the importance of music in the liturgy and practiced with those present the early Christian hymn "Phos hilaron". At the vespers in St. Nicholas Cathedral he preached the sermon.
