International Conference in Plovdiv, European Capital of Culture 2019
From 20 to 22 June 2019 an international conference on "Physics and theology - yesterday and today" took place in Plovdiv/Bulgaria, the European Capital of Culture 2019. The local initiator was Prof. Todorka L. Dimitrova, a guest professor at the University of Fribourg for many years in cooperation with Antoine Weis, professor of physics. Together with Antoine Weis and the theologian Prof. Dieter Hattrup, she published in German, English and Russian a book on "Physics and Theology - Yesterday and Today", from which the idea for the very successful conference emerged.
