Next NGSCES conference in September 2019

The 10th international Conference “New Generation in Strongly Correlated Electron Systems” (NGSCES 2019) will be held at the "Centro Congressi Abruzzo Berti Hotels", Silvi Marina (TE), close to Pescara city, Italy, on September 2-6, 2019. It is organized by Claude Monney from our Physics Department, Federico Cilento (Elettra - Sincrotrone Trieste, Italy), Domenico Di Sante (University of Würzburg, Germany) and David O’Regan (Trinity College Dublin, Ireland). The aim of the conference is to review the state of the art and new trends in the theoretical understanding and experimental investigation of strongly correlated electron systems and of novel materials.

More information, and the registration (until end of April!) page, can be found on the website of the conference: https://sites.google.com/view/ngsces2019/home.

In the spirit of the previous successful NGSCES editions, this conference provides a friendly atmosphere to foster discussions and collaborations in particular between emergent and more experienced scientists in the field of strongly correlated electron systems, by encouraging participation of researchers at an early stage of their career. It will be organized in different sessions dedicated to topics relevant to strongly correlated electron systems and will be opened by pedagogical talks given by keynote speakers.
