  • Biography

    Andrea Frick is an SNSF Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Fribourg since 2014. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Zürich in 2006, after which she did two post-docs, one in Margaret Wilson’s lab at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and one in Nora Newcombe’s lab at Temple University, Philadelphia. From 2011 to 2014, she worked as an SNSF Ambizione Fellow at the University of Bern, where she received the Venia Docendi in 2013. Prof. Frick’s current research area is cognitive and motor development, with a special focus on the development of spatial cognition, mental representations, and imagery abilities.
