Postdoctoral study carried out by Dr. Valerio A. Bruno on the importance of technocracy at the multilateralism level (2019 Spring semester)


During the 2019 spring semester, thanks to a grant from the university of Fribourg a postdoctoral research has been underway within the chair. It has been carried out by Dr. Valerio A. Bruno under the supervision of professor Paul H. Dembinski . It evaluates the importance of technical expertise and scientific knowledge  as implicit lobbying within decision process at the multilateralism level.  

Mr. Valerio A. Bruno holds a PhD in "Policies and Institutions" from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan). He was trained at the Israel-Italy Chamber of Commerce in Tel Aviv, the European Commission in Brussels and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva. He then worked in the sector of European Union Affairs in Brussels for a short period. 

His articles are currently published or featured on several international journals and magazines, especially Social Europe and Georgetown Journal of International Affairs.
