Prof. Nordmann and Dr. Poirel, from the Section of Medicine, work on emerging antibiotic resistance, Prof. Bacher’s expertise (Department of Biology) studies alien species and nature conservation, Prof. Szabo (Section of Medicine, picture above) specializes in the physiology of free radicals and Dr Saliba (Adolphe Merkle Institute) develops new materials for solar arrays.

The catalog lists more than 4000 highly-cited researchers from around the world belonging to 21 fields of the natural sciences, economics, clinical medicine, and the social sciences. Their consistent production of highly cited articles indicates that the work of these researchers has been repeatedly judged by their peers to be of notable significance and utility.
