White Paper on Priority Themes for Swiss Sustainability Research

What are the priority issues in the context of the 2030 Agenda that science must address? This question has been explored by the Initiative for Sustainability Research. In 10 years' time, we want to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. The Initiative for Sustainability Research (SRI) of the Swiss Academy of Sciences supports science in participating more broadly in this societal project. Over the past 18 months, priority themes for sustainability research in Switzerland have been identified and developed in a participatory process.

The paper is launched on 8. December, further information can be found here. Prof. Ivo Wallimann-Helmer has been contributing to this report and will join the discussion.
