On the 1^st of August 2019, Prof. Christian Bochet handed over his position as Dean of the Faculty of Science and Medicine to Prof. Gregor Rainer. The Faculty would like to thank Prof. Bochet for his years of service.

For three years, Prof. Bochet has lead the Faculty of Science and Medicine with openness and efficiency. During this time, he welcomed hundreds of new students to the Faculty and accompanied hundreds more through their graduation ceremonies. He also facilitated the smooth reorganization of the Faculty.

For his calm and strong leadership, the Faculty of Science and Medicine thanks him, and wishes him all the best in all his future endeavors.
