I am a general social scientist with degrees in sociology, political science and economics, and specializations in media sociology, institutional theory, and the theory of social change. My current research is on Civil democracy and the medial disadvantages of current institutions. In 2020, my systematic introductory textbook in media sociology appeared (in German) at Springer VS.
