    Description

    The course « Health Communication across the Lifespan » examines contemporary issues in the realm of health promotion. Different topics, such as alcoholism, or tobacco prevention will be addressed, along with the different means of improving information processing. The course will be particularly focused on language processes at the very heart of communicating health information to change certain attitudes towards targeted behaviours. The exact structure as well as content of the course will depend on the number of students enrolled on this course.

    The number of students is limited to 72 students. Preference is given to the first 72 students to enroll.

    Presence is compulsory on several lectures, if the course is given in presence. Due to the high number of potential issues and the difficulty to set objective criteria, no exception can be made as to the obligatory attendance to the presentation classes. During those classes, active work is required (and evaluated) by each member of the groups.
