    Description The students will have a more detailed feeling for the periodic table and the reactivity of the elements. They will be able to predict certain trends in the periodic table and know the industrial synthesis of the most important inorganic chemicals.
    Training objectives Die Studierenden wissen, wie sich die chemischen Hauptgruppen-Elemente bezüglich ihrer Reaktivität mit anderen Elementen verhalten, welche Bindungen dabei entstehen, ob chemische Elemente biologisch relevant sind, welche metall-organische Verbindungen relevant sind und in welchen industriellen Prozessen die Elemente eine Rolle spielen.
    Les étudiants connaissent les éléments chimiques des groupes principaux et peuvent prédire la réactivité de ces éléments avec d’autres. Ils peuvent déduire quel type de liaison se forme, si les éléments sont biologiquement importants, s’ils forment des composés organo-métalliques et s’ils sont impliqués dans des processus chimiques industriels.
