    Description In the first part of the course, the nature and physicochemical properties (reactivity, mobility, adsorption) of water and soil pollutants are presented. Techniques to assess the type and degree of a contamination as well as legal aspects are introduced. In the second part of the course, assessment, risk evalutation and remedial of actual pollution sites are presented.
    Training objectives Participants will be able to handle the assessment, risk evalutation and the choice of the remedial technique for simple contamination situations.
