Informal spoken English is a genre of discourse used in everyday situations and is critical for social bonding, cooperative learning, interpreting literature, information processing etc. The autumn course, Informal Spoken English, presents activities for listening, speaking and analysis of speech. You will improve your knowledge of idiomatic English and phrasal verbs, which will help you to incorporate more native-like colloquial phrases into your everyday speech. |
