    Description

    This interactive, work-shop style course supports those for whom English is a medium of instruction and/or an indispensable tool in academic contexts and beyond. It develops tools and techniques for the most important language needs of Master’s students with English as an additional language for academic purposes. Your course work and individual work outside the course will make your English more accurate, more informative, and more appropriate.

    The Autumn workshop involves work on: introducing people and research, describing observations, explaining hypotheses, purposes, and processes, reporting on events and findings, and arguing positions from various perspectives. It focuses on presentation, discussion and co-operation skills.
