    Description Das Praktikum vermittelt die wichtigsten instrumental-analytischen Techniken (Elektronenspektroskopie, Schwingungsspektroskopie, Polarimetrie, Cyclovoltametrie, Atomabsorption, Gaschromatographie-Massenspektrometrie, Kernresonanzspetroskopie) anhand von angewandten Beispielen (Isolation eines Naturstoffes, Bestimmung von Spurenelementen, Trennung eines Gemisches mit Konstitutionsaufklärung, Reaktionskinetik, Derivatisierung von Analyten) und wird ergänzt durch Messung einer unbekannten Substanz.
    Training objectives Das Praktikum hat zum Ziel, die Studierenden durch eigenhändige Benutzung von Spektrometern und Messgeräten mit den in Vorlesungen behandelten analytischen Methoden anhand von konkreten Problemen vertraut zu machen um ihnen zu erlauben, fortan spektroskopische Daten mit der gebotenen Vorsicht zu interpretieren. Die Aufklärung der Struktur einer unbekannten Verbindung erlaubt allen Studierenden, die erworbenen Fähigkeiten an einem konkreten Problem zu erproben.
