    Description

    The course provides a general overview of qualitative research methods suitable for a research project in human geography. It provides students with training in empirical research and analysis in order to strengthen their autonomy.
    Groups of students are required to build a research framework and put it into practice through exercises. They are asked to submit a final reflexive paper.

    Training objectives On successful completion of this teaching unit you will be able to:
    Identify the different steps of a research project in human geography and the range of methods that can be used in order to produce and analyze empirical data.
    Choose methods according to the theoretical framework of a research project.
    Conduct empirical research using qualitative empirical and analytical methods reflexively and ethically.
    Manage a research project in autonomy.
