    Description Folgende Aspekte der Telekommunikation werden in dieser Unterrichtseinheit behandelt:
    - Referenzmodelle (Schichtenmodelle)
    - Codierungstheorie und Fehlererkennung
    - Medienzugriffskontrolle
    - Routing, Abstandsmasse und kürzeste Wege
    - Fluss- und Staukontrolle
    - verbindungsorientierte Kommunikation
    - Internet-Protokolle
    - Socketprogrammierung
    - Netzwerksicherheit
    Training objectives Nach Beendigung dieser Unterrichtseinheit wird die Studentin/der Student:
    - die Funktionsweise von Computernetzwerken verstehen
    - die Begriffe „Dienst“ und „Protokoll“ erklären können
    - die logische Struktur von Computernetzwerken kennen
    - den Datenfluss in Computernetzwerken verstehen
    - Netzwerke analysieren können
    - die grundlegenden Protokolldateneinheiten des Internet kennen
    - einfache Kommunikationssoftware schreiben können
    - Netzwerke im Hinblick auf ihre Sicherheit beurteilen können

    Die Unterrichteinheit setzt sich in der Regel aus je zwei Stunden Vorlesung und zwei Stunden Übung pro Woche zusammen. Für die Examen beachten Sie bitte jeweils die Einschreibefristen der Mathematisch-Naturwissenschaftliche und Medizinische Fakultät.
