    Description

This inorganic chemistry course offers and in-depth study of the behavior, applications and (partially) the synthesis of inorganic and organometallic compounds. The course focuses on transition metals, their compounds, and their derivatives. Applications include catalysis, imaging, therapy and photovoltaic devices.

    Training objectives

    - Survey the different applications of inorganic and organometallic complexes

    - Explain the above from fundamental principle

    - Discuss the synthesis of important species to exemplify fundamental reactivity

    - Explain the synthesis and properties of uncommon coordination and organometallic  compounds
