    Description

    The lectures are given around materials in the solid state or near-solid state, and the properties that derive from their structure. They will see e.g. how molecular orbitals become band structures in the solid state, and the derived properties such as conductivity.
    Training objectives

    Understanding the underlying principles of the solid state materials, how to produce them, how their properties depend on their structure.
