    Description

    Da in der Bioethik Fragen zum richtigen Umgang mit dem (menschlichen) Leben aufgeworfen werden, welche die religiöse Identität, Menschen-, Welt- und Gottesbilder betreffen, sind bioethische Fragen weltweit auch Gegenstand religiöser Diskurse. Im Seminar geht es in erster Linie um die Beschäftigung mit konkreten bioethischen Beiträgen zu Fragen des Lebensanfangs und -endes aus unterschiedlichen religiösen (z.B. christlich-orthodoxen, jüdischen, muslimischen, buddhistischen) Perspektiven. Dass diese Auseinandersetzung aus Sicht der christlich-theologischen Ethik erfolgt, soll dabei stets mitreflektiert werden. Ziel ist es, in der Auseinandersetzung mit typischen bioethischen Fragen, wie sie bezüglich des Lebensbeginns und -endes auftauchen, Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede in religiösen Herangehensweisen zu erkunden, dabei voneinander zu lernen und nicht zuletzt auch die eigenen Denkweisen besser zu verstehen.
    Training objectives

    Die Studierenden haben Einblicke in unterschiedliche religiöse Beiträge zu bioethischen Fragen und damit in die Vielfalt theologischer Herangehensweisen erhalten. 

    Sie sind zur kritischen Textlektüre befähigt und können bioethische Texte anderer theologischer bzw. religiöser Provenienz einordnen.

    Sie haben ihre Befähigung zum ethischen Argumentieren und Begründen erweitert.

    Die Beschäftigung mit fremden Sichtweisen hat zu einem vertieften Verständnis der eigenen Perspektive geführt.
