    Training objectives

    Die Veranstaltung in Form eines Seminars hat zum Ziel, den Studierenden geographische Konzepte und Ansätze zum Verständnis der Mensch-Umwelt-Beziehungen zu vermitteln. Der Fokus der Veranstaltung liegt auf der Erarbeitung zentraler Konzepte (Natur, Ressourcen, Biodiversität, …) und thematisch relevante Felder der Geographie der Umwelt (Klimawandel, Nachhaltigkeit…). Dies geschieht einerseits durch den Input der Studierenden in Form einer Hausarbeit, und andererseits anhand der Pflichtlektüre, welche im Vorfeld der jeweiligen Veranstaltung von den Studierenden gelesen und vorbereitet werden. Die Pflichtlektüre besteht sowohl aus theoretischen Schlüsseltexten wie empirischen Studien. Die Lehrveranstaltung richtet sich an Studierende der Geographie auf Bachelor-Niveau.
